Anchoring is a brand new Bed & Breakfast located in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, Devon. Less than a minute’s walk from the seafront and close to the Exmouth town centre with all it’s local amenities this is an ideally placed Bed and Breakfast for long or short stays, business or for pleasure. Situated on St. Andrews Road Anchoring is only a short walk from Exmouth’s bus and train stations.

Anchoring Bed and Breakfast is a family run B&B opened in March 2008 by Margaret Grant. With a clean and modern look it aims to provide a friendly, family atmosphere within a professionally run guest house.

Exmouth, at the estuary's mouth, marks the World Heritage Coastline's western gateway and despite being one of England's oldest resorts, remains untouched by commercialism.

Exmouth beach has two-miles of golden sand and many fascinating rock pools, making it a paradise for children and adults alike. The promenade has old favourites such as crazy golf, swing boats and sometimes even a Punch and Judy show.

For the more energetic, Exmouth is a coastal playground with a boating lake, swimming, sailing, water-skiing, tennis, bowls, cricket, pony riding, river cruises and fishing trips, should provide ample entertainment.

Exmouth town itself is rich with elegant Georgian architecture and many friendly and traditional shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

The bustling Exmouth summer festival takes place in June and includes concerts, picnics, parades and an amazing sand sculpture competition. The illuminated carnival in October is spectacular and watched by thousands every year.
